Air quality concerns are continuing across parts of B.C. as wildfire smoke blankets several regions.
The Okanagan Valley remains under a largely “yellow air quality warning”, meaning smoke levels could have a moderate impact on health.
The Air Quality Index was in the “very unhealthy” range earlier Thursday which means that can cause health issues for anyone, regardless of age and health status.
Officials are urging residents to limit strenuous outdoor activity, keep indoor air cleaner and take extra precautions if they are more vulnerable to smoke.
