Born and raised in Vernon, Jason Armstrong started at CJIB in the glorious summer of 1988. (It’s quite possible that some of the classic ’80s hits that he spins today, he tore off the shrink-wrap at the station; LPs, CDs, 45s – yup, he played ‘em all!)
He’s a writer at heart; he was Creative Director for over 20 years, has penned dozens of full length plays, and continues his weekly movie reviews in the Aisle Seat at VernonMatters.ca.
Jason says talking before and after songs is the most effective way to continue to buy groceries – you’d never know from his svelte figure, but dude likes to eat! He’s proud to join you on the home stretch of your workday, 2-6pm, AND as your host for the ever popular Brain Candy, weekday afternoons at 4:20!
