Vipers Close Season With 7-1 Win
The Vernon Vipers closed out the regular season with a 7-1 victory over the Trail Smoke Eaters, Saturday night at Kal-Tire Place.
With a goal in each period, Brett Stapley, who committed to Denver University earlier this week, came up with a hat trick on the evening. A pair of goals from Steven Jandric, and one each from Ryan Brushett and Jagger Williamson, rounded out the Vipers scoring.
Post game, some top players were recognized as part of the Vernon Vipers Awards Banquet.
The BCHL Play-off Schedule is now set for round one. In the interior division, a best of seven series will be played between Trail Smoke Eaters and Salmon Arm Silverbacks; as well as, Merritt Centennials and West Kelowna Warriors.
