A months-long investigation has led to multiple search warrants, major seizures and several arrests in Kelowna and West Kelowna, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

The RCMP’s Drugs and Organized Crime Unit, with support from the Southeast District Emergency Response Team, executed coordinated warrants on June 2 and 3, 2026.

Five homes were searched, with officers seizing about five kilograms of suspected illicit drugs, $55,000 in cash and roughly $230,000 in jewelry and luxury goods. Four vehicles believed connected to the operation were also seized.

Police also recovered about 15 kilograms of a substance believed to be used to cut fentanyl for street-level distribution.

Three people were arrested and later released pending further investigation. Police say the file is being prepared for charge assessment by federal prosecutors.

Staff Sgt. Desmond Kiehlbauch says the operation reflects ongoing efforts to target mid- to high-level drug traffickers and organized crime groups. The investigation remains ongoing.
