Fatal Crash

The Trans Canada Highway was closed for several hours Friday morning after a fatal crash in the Shuswap.

Police say a pickup truck crossed the centre line around 3 a.m. hitting a semi truck in the Blind Bay area.

The 39-year-old Salmon Arm man driving the pickup was ejected from his truck and died at the scene.

“Investigation into the cause of the incident is continuing,” says Cpl. Wasylenki of the Trans Canada East Traffic Services Revesltoke.
