Vipers Up on Wenatchee 2-0

In BCHL playoff action last night the Vernon Vipers took game 2 at Kal Tire Place 3-1. The Wild came out hard. out-shooting the Snakes 35-28, earning Viper goalie Ty Taylor First Star on the night just allowing 1 goal.

Mitch Andres at 1 and 1 earned Second Star while Jesse Lansdell also going 1 and 1 cleaned up with Third Star.

With the Vipers up 2 to 0 in the series, games 3 and 4 are back in Wenatchee Tuesday and Wednesday.

Meanwhile in the other Interior Division second round, Penticton leads their series 2 games to none after a convincing 7-2 win over Trail last night in Penticton.  That series shifts to Trail for games 3 and 4 also Tuesday and Wednesday.

In the WHL the Kelowna Rockets wrapped up their regular season at home dumping Vancouver 8-1.

The Rockets will face the Tri-City Americans in the opening round of the WHL playoffs, at Prospera Place next Thursday and Saturday.
