New mountaintop attraction opens at Revelstoke Mountain Resort

Visitors to Revelstoke Mountain Resort can now experience a new high-altitude attraction featuring a suspension bridge, viewing platform and forest trail overlooking the Columbia Valley.

The resort’s Skywalk attraction officially opens this week, offering guests access to a series of viewpoints more than 1,600 metres above sea level on Mount Mackenzie.

Visitors reach the site via the Revelation Gondola before following a short walking trail to a suspension bridge stretching more than 75 metres between two rocky outcrops. The attraction also includes an elevated viewing platform extending beyond the mountainside, providing panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, valley and the City of Revelstoke below.

The development is located within an inland temperate rainforest and is connected to existing hiking routes near the summit area.
