Vipers Hammer Silverbacks Goalies; Take 2 Game Lead in Round 1

In BCHL playoff action the Vipers have taken a 2 games to 0 lead over Salmon Arm after a 6-4 win last night at home.

Derek Brown went 1 and 2 grabbing First Star, Josh Latta was 1 and 1 earning Second Star.

The Vipers almost doubled the shots on net at 47-24 chasing starting Goalie Reid Cooper to the bench after 5 got past him.  Kyle Dumba would only let in 1 in relief.

The series now shifts to Salmon Arm for games 3 and 4 Tuesday and Wednesday.
