Another Week of Skating

Vernon’s Centennial Outdoor Rink will be staying open a bit longer.

The final day of skating was scheduled for this Sunday, but if the weather allows, it will remain open with limited skating until Sunday, March 11.

The rink, located in the Recreation Centre Complex, will be open for public skating only, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and from 4:30 pm to 8 pm daily.

“If weather conditions deteriorate the rink will close,” says Nick Nilsen, city communications officer.
