Snowfall Warning Updated

Update 11 am:

Environment Canada has updated its snowfall warning for the North Okanagan and Shuswap.

The weather agency is forecasting a long period of snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm expected.

An intense Pacific warm front will bring snow to the southern interior late today.

The snow is expected to become heavy at times tonight through Thursday.


Get ready for another major dump.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the North Okanagan including Vernon.

15-25 cm. of snow is expected tonight through Thursday.

Road conditions will be a mess due to accumulating snow and reduced visibility.

Heavy snowfall warnings are also in effect for the Rogers Pass and Kootenay Pass…where upwards of 25 cm. of snow is also expected.
