January Okanagan House Sales Up, Inventory Down

Residential house sales in the Okanagan from Revelstoke to Peachland were 5.6% higher than the same month a year ago, but inventory was down 30%.
Fewer available homes drove the average price up to $439,472, 21% higher than January of 2016.
Most sales came from interior residents upgrading with 20% of sales first time buyers.
Albertans overtook Lower Mainland/Island buyers as outsiders moving here.
