Shots Fired At Residence
Police are trying to find out who fired a gun at a residence in Salmon Arm.
It happened last Sunday around 3 in the morning in the 1700 block of 11th Avenue SE.
Mounties say they got a number of calls from people who heard gun shots, and then a vehicle speeding away.
“RCMP officers attended to the area and determined that there had been a firearm discharged in the direction of a parked vehicle, a nearby garage and fence at an address in the 1700 block of 11th Ave. SE,” says Cpl. Dan Moskaluk.
Investigators believe it was was a targeted event, and after speaking with tenants of the building, they say no one was injured.
“Our investigation into this matter continues and anyone with information pertaining to this or other events can call the Salmon Arm RCMP at 250 832 6044 or can leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS)”, says Staff Sgt Scott West.
