Nature Centre Benefits From Finning

Allan Brooks Nature Centre has picked up a major sponsor.

Finning is taking on a three year sponsorship, providing operational funding support to deliver youth and family-focused nature educational programming at the Nature Centre.

Finning’s Vernon branch manager Scott Wakefield says the company is pleased to partner with the Centre “by supporting science-based education programs to help inspire young minds and build awareness and respect for our natural environment.”

Allan Brooks Nature Centre Executive Director Aaron Deans says it’s tremendous to receive the support of Finning.

He says the alignment of the organizations “reaffirms the relevance and value of building community and increasing public interest and appreciation of nature and keeping it in our future.”
