Door To Door Scam Warning

The City of Vernon is warning of a door to door scam.

“The City has received reports from residents who have had people claiming to represent the City coming to their door on the pretext of inspecting hot water heaters and other appliances.”

The City says these people are not City employees or representatives, and should be reported immediately to RCMP by calling 250-545-7171.
