Opening of Lavington Outdoor Pool pushed back again

The Lavington Outdoor Pool faces another delay before opening.

The pool was slated to open June 27, but mechanical issues were found at the facility that needed to be remedied.

The District of Coldstream said at the time that the repairs would be completed in time to reopen the pool by July 6.

However, an update from the municipality said the parts needed for the repairs were not expected to arrive until the week of July 6, and that the work would be done as soon as possible with the new goal of having the pool open and operational by Thursday, July 9.
