May I Help You Sir…Elton John?

Not surprising Sir Elton John is a big fan of vinyl records.

The story on CBC News Vancouver confirms Elton John and a couple of bodyguards arrived at Beat Street Records in Vancouver asking for some vinyl by Rapper Tech N9ne.

Unfortunately store manager Lindsay Tomchyshen said they were out of that artist. Later Elton would pose for a few pictures and signed a copy of his Goodbye Yellow Brick Road…they just happened to have on the shelves. Ka-ching on the new price tag of that piece.

John, who will be 70 later this month, plays two shows in Victoria this weekend before continuing his world tour which wraps up in December.
