RDNO receives grant to study climate impacts
The Regional District of the North Okanagan has received a grant to help with a valley wide climate impact initiative.
The district was awarded $25,000 from the Okanagan Basin Water Board’s Water Conservation and Quality Improvement Grant Program.
The money will be used to create a climate projections report that will span across the Okangan valley.
The report, once completed will help communities with decisions surrounding planning and infrastructure, flood and drought preparedness and water conservation.
