Two Running For People’s Party
Two people are seeking the People’s Party of Canada nomination for the North Okanagan Shuswap federal riding.
The right-wing party was formed last year with former Conservative cabinet minster Maxime Bernier as leader.
The local candidates are Ian Tribes, a long time resident of Vernon, and Kyle Delfing, a local small business owner.
“Both candidate nominees are currently being interviewed and vetted by the local riding Candidate Nomination Selection Committee,” says Glen Walushka, BC Regional Co-ordinator, People’s Party of Canada. “It is scheduled that the entire North Okanagan-Shuswap PPC membership will be voting one of these two very qualified and capable candidates through to a successful challenge for the position of our Member of Parliament no later than the last week of May.”
