Snowfall Advisory Still in Effect for Coquihalla

A heavy snowfall advisory remains in effect today for the Coquihalla between Merritt and Hope.

Up to 30 cm. of snow is expected at the Summit by this afternoon.

Driving conditions remain hazardous in all the mountain passes, with fog, compact snow and slippery sections listed in all of them.

Motorists need to drive for the rapidly changing conditions and to slow down.

There are no avalanche closures to report this morning.
