Suspect Admits Role in Apartment Blast

A drug related explosion at a Vernon residence has resulted in guilty pleas in court.
James Karl Iverson was one of two men who suffered serious burns in the apartment blast on Okanagan Avenue in August 2015.
Police said the incident was the result of something going wrong with a marijuana extraction lab.
Iverson has plead guilty to criminal negligence causing bodily harm and arson by negligence.
A pre-sentence report will be prepared prior to his next court date April 26.
Several other charges against Iverson are expected to be stayed by the Crown.
