RCMP looking for new dispatchers through recruitment event in Vernon

Mounties will be trying to draw in new dispatchers with an event later this month.

B.C. RCMP will host a recruitment event in Vernon where a dispatcher will give a presentation and inform people about the roles and responsibilities of the job, as well as answer questions from the attendees.

The Coffee with a 9-1-1 Police Dispatcher event will be held at noon June 17 at the Two Donkeys Bakery on Kalamalka Lake Road.
