Dozens of couples will make lifelong commitments at a unique wedding celebration in Coldstream this fall.

Mackie Lake House and Event Specialist, Dee Cristante, will host the Okanagan’s largest mass group wedding ceremony over the Thanksgiving weekend.

The event will see up to 100 brides and grooms say “I do” at the Mackie Lake House in what organizers said is a fun and unique way to tie the knot and offset the costs of a traditional wedding. They also said group ceremonies had become increasingly popular in recent years.

The mass wedding will feature most of the traditions in a regular ceremony with the couple being formally introduced then being able to exchange vows and rings and being pronounced as husband and wife.

The public can also attend the mass wedding to take part in the special day and the subsequent festivities, including wedding cake, food, and entertainment.

Wedding ceremony packages can be secured by making a reservation by contacting the Mackie Lake House at mackiehouseevents@gmail.com or by visiting their website.
