Hundreds of Vernon properties were without power for a few hours Wednesday afternoon.
The outage began at 12:30 p.m. April 22 with B.C. Hydro saying it was caused by an object on the wires.
The outage affected 3,611 properties in the downtown core and the Bella Vista area were without power.

B.C. Hydro had power restored to the affected properties at around 2:40 p.m.
