ALC pool filled, being tested

A major milestone has been hit in the Active Living Centre project.

The City of Vernon said the 50-metre pool at the ALC had been filled with water, and the pool tank is being tested.

The city noted the installation of the waterslide was well underway, and once those pieces have been completed, crews would be starting the tiling of the pool area.

As of the latest update the ALC project was still on budget and projected to be open by the fall.
