Apr 21, 2024 | 7:30 AM

The Vernon Vipers hope home ice can get them back into their BC Hockey League playoff series against the Penticton Vees.

The Vees took a two games to none lead on Saturday with a 3-1 win over the Vipers before 2,261 fans at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

Penticton carried the play all game, outshooting Vernon 44-21 with Ethan David taking the loss and Andrew Ness picking up the win.

Georgios Stavrianeas from Brossard, Quebec, scored the Vipers lone goal in the opening period.
