Kamloops homicide victim identified
The identity of a man found deceased in a rural area or Kamloops and Tk’emlúps traditional territories has been confirmed.
The body was discovered at around 8 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29.
Police responded to a request to assist ambulance in a parking lot of St. Joseph’s Cemetery/Tk’emlúps Health Clinic/Tk’emlúps Church on Chilcotin Road, where the deceased man was located.
The man had suffered injuries, and the B.C. Coroners Service performed an autopsy, which led to the identification of 18-year-old Jagraj Dhinsa.
