UPDATE: Province to address rising COVID cases in Interior Health
Provincial health official will address the concerning rise in COVID cases in Interior Health (IH) at a news conference today.
Health minister Adrian Dix, provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and IH’s chief medical health officer, Dr. Sue Pollack, will hold a media availability at 12:30 to update the response in the region.
Following a recent trend upward, IH had 95 of B.C.’s 150 new cases on Tuesday, representing 63 per cent of the provincial total.
Interior Health now has over 400 active cases, most in the province.
