Sparkling Hill Resort in Vernon has temporarily shut down due to a COVID-19 incident.

The wellness resort south of Vernon by Predator Ridge Resort said on its website two of its team members have tested positive for the virus.

“The two cases are not related and do not appear to have been contracted at the resort. However, the safety of all guests, team members, and the community is always our top priority, therefore, we have made the very difficult decision to close our doors for the next 10 days from July 26 to August 4, 2021,” the statement said.

Resort management added they have taken extreme care to follow COVID-safety protocols which allowed them to identify the two cases and take appropriate precautionary measures.
