Shuswap SAR recover body

Shuswap Search and Rescue recovered the body of a hiker who was found dead above the Sicamous Creek Falls.

According to a news release sent by the Sicamous RCMP, search and rescue conducted a “difficult and technical high angle rope rescue,” in order to retrieve the body.

The hiker died after falling on Wednesday.

RCMP and the BC Corners Service are continuing to investigate.
