Cherryville: Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin On

Calls to our KISS-FM studios this morning have mentioned about a possible earthquake in the Cherryville area yesterday.

 I checked in with Meg at the Cherryville Golf and Roadhouse Cafe and she confirmed her husband and some neighbours did indeed feel some rumbling and shaking yesterday.

Some have said it seemed about 15 seconds, which is quite a long time when the ground is shaking.

No official indication from Earthquakes Canada specifying the Cherryville area,  however there was a recording of a magnitude 2.7 earthquake registered at Coupeville Washington,  about 550 km away yesterday morning.
