Armstrong Investigating Grants For Flood Prevention

The City of Armstrong is moving ahead with plans to try to avoid flooding next spring like it saw this year.

Mayor Chris Pieper says the city has learned of some potential grant applications it can make.

“So, we’ve approved staff to apply for some of those to see if we can get some funding for planning and works to improve the flooding situation that we went through in the spring.

Flooding by Meighan Creek caused a lot of damage in May.
