Vernon Man Wanted on a Warrant Arrested in Kamloops

A Vernon man who was supposed to go on trial Wednesday in connection with an alleged kidnapping in Cherryville was arrested in Kamloops yesterday (Thursday).
21-year old Abd’l-Malik Loubissi-Morris was scheduled to appear in Vernon Provincial court and when he failed to show up a warrant was issued for his arrest.
He is charged with kidnapping, use of an imitation firearm, uttering threats and assault in connection with a May 25th incident last spring.
