Youth Trades Training Funding for Vernon

The Vernon School District is getting over $180-thousand dollars over the next 3 years from the BC Government’s Youth Trades Capital Equipment Program.

The money will be used to purchase equipment for youth trades programs, heavy machinery and media arts equipment.

District #22 is one of 59 in BC benefiting from $15-million in trades funding being handed out to increase participation in and successful completion of youth trades programs.
