Update: 10:00 a.m. Feb. 28:

A patient who walked away from Vernon Jubiliee Hospital yesterday has been found safe and sound.

Police requested the public’s help in locating Rochelle Nelson worried about her health and well-being.

They thank the public for all the tips they received in tracking her down.

Vernon RCMP hope the public can help them locate a missing woman last seen yesterday morning at the Jubilee Hospital.

40-year old Rochelle Nelson walked away from the hospital sometime after 10 a.m. and the police worry about her health and well-being.

She is described as aboriginal, 5’10”, 200 lbs. wearing a black hoody, Army green jacket and black yoga pants.

Anyone with information should contact the Vernon RCMP or Crimestoppers.
