Joy Riding Injuries in Lake Country

A case of joy riding in Lake Country Saturday night has landed a 22 year old woman in hospital with serious injuries.

RCMP say the woman was partially outside a truck’s passenger window while it traveled down Bottom Wood Lake Road.

The truck hit a street sign ripping her from the vehicle.

The 24-year old Vernon woman driving failed two roadside breath tests and now faces driving prohibitions, fines and criminal charges possibly.
