Fatal Crash in Coldstream Sunday

The BC Coroner’s service and North Okanagan RCMP are investigating a fatal crash along the King Edward Forest Service Road in Coldstream yesterday (Sunday).

Police were called around 8:30 a.m. after a white F150 pickup failed to negotiate a right hand turn and went off the road, down an embankment about 20 feet and slammed into a tree.

A 37-year old North Okanagan man driving and alone in the truck died at the scene.

His name is not being released at this time. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them.
