Vernon’s Jim Cotter saw his run of four straight BC men’s curling titles come to an end Sunday in Parksville.
Cotter’s team lost in the championship game to Sean Geall of Kelowna 9-7 in an extra end.
It was the Vernon’s team’s only loss at the event, and they had beaten Geall twice before.
The Kelowna team which also includes Jeff Richard at third, Andrew Nerpin at second and lead David Harper, will represent BC at the Tim Hortons Brier in Regina starting March 3.
