A Vernon woman has pleaded guilty two charges of impaired driving.
The 2nd charge was laid after she showed up to the Vernon RCMP detachment to be fingerprinted for the first charge.
Police say 37 year old Heather Barker was arrested on the 2nd charge when she left the police detachment saying she would get a cab, but actually drove away.
She didn’t stop when an officer initially tried to pull her over, but did when she saw his cruiser right beside with lights and siren activated.
