Vernon Shooting Investigation Advances

RCMP in Vernon have released more information about a shooting earlier this month.

A 49 year old woman was shot at an apartment in the 3700 block of 24th Avenue on January 6th.

At the time, police said she suffered life-threatening injuries, but she has now been released from hospital.

The investigation into the incident led officers to a home on Willow Shore Crescent where a search warrant was executed.
