Still Time To Enter Carnival Event

People thinking of holding an event for next year’s Vernon Winter Carnival have more time to get their event package in.

The Carnival Board has extended the date an extra two weeks.

“With the addition of our new executive co-ordinator Vicki Proulx, the board has extended the deadline for two weeks, till October 6” says chair Deb White. “We understand that this is a very busy time of year and the board didn’t want anyone to miss out!”

White says the board has already received a number of entries for events, with more coming in.

Next year’s theme will be Carnival in Wonderland

White says Carnival will have the brochure available for the end of November, and tickets go on sale December 1.
