Anonymous People & Addiction Recovery

The John Howard Society is offering an opportunity to look inside the addiction recovery process.

Co-Executive Director of the Society in the North Okanagan, Kelly Fehr, says the film ” The Anonymous People, will be shown at Trinity United Church  Tuesday night.

“And it’s a film that really talks about recovery and different paths to recovery and what recovery can do to families and to heal individuals.”

It’s about breaking down stigmas and opening up for to let people know help is available.

“Really it’s just to watch the film, to learn about the recovery movement, about different changes, about breaking down stigma, changing the language around addiction and then just be there to answer questions.”
