Starbucks: ‘Coming Soon’; Company Responds

Update: Sept 12:

A spokesperson for Starbucks tells Kiss FM in an email, “This store will be open within a month.”

A new Starbucks is getting closer to opening in Vernon.

The coffee company has been converting the former Carl’s Jr restaurant on 32nd Street into the city’s sixth Starbucks.

A sign saying “Coming Soon” with the Starbucks logo, was recently added.

A email for more information from Kiss FM to the Seattle-based company has so far not been returned.

Carl’s Junior closed its Vernon outlet in the 3800 block of 32nd Street (Highway 97) in October 2016.

Kiss FM first reported the new Starbucks back in August.
