Election races in both RDCO areas

There will be races in the Regional District of Central Okanagan’s (RDCO) two large rural areas come next month’s municipal elections.

RDCO  Electoral Area East will see Christine LeGuilloux challenge incumbent director Kevin Kraft.

In the Electoral Area West, incumbent Wayne Carson faces a two-way challenge from Ron Dewhurst and Steven Gilroy.

Election day is Oct. 17, with advance voting on the two Wednesdays prior to that, Oct. 7 and 14.
