Former TV news anchor running for Kelowna council

A familiar name is on the list of 37 candidates for Kelowna city council in next month’s municipal election.

Former broadcaster with Global Okanagan and realtor, Doris Bregolisse has decided to run.

In her campaign messaging, the widow and mother of several children, said she will “advocate for the community, make sure we survive current challenges, and make choices for a better future.”

A woman with an extensive resume in reporting on Kelowna is now hoping to become part of the political decision-making.
