Wildfire response fund launched

The Community Foundation North Okanagan has launched a Wildfire Response 2026 Fund to support people impacted by wildfires across the region.

The foundation says thousands of residents have been displaced, with some homes destroyed by fires this season.

Donations will help with immediate needs such as food, shelter, and health support, as well as long-term recovery and rebuilding.

People can donate online through the CFNO website, by e-transfer, or by cheque to the Community Foundation North Okanagan.
