Second annual skate and music festival to run in Vernon

Lillyfest is making its return in the North Okanagan.

The second edition of the skate and music festival will be held at Creekside Park in Coldstream on Saturday, August 30.

Lillyfest, organized by Local Losers Underground, Okanagan Skate Co., and the VOICE Society, brings together a day of live music, skateboard competitions, and local artisan vendors.

“Lillyfest is our love letter to the community’s creative underground,” said Noah MacLeod, Owner of Local Losers Underground.

“It’s about amplifying the voices of local youth and artists—whether they shred guitars or skate decks. We’re proud to bring this event back with even more energy than last year.”

Lillyfest was first held at Polson Park in 2024, but organizers decided to move it to the park in Coldstream as it has a larger skate area and increased room for the stage and visitors.

“Lillyfest is a space where young skaters get to push their limits while being celebrated by their community,” Silas Langer of Okanagan Skate Co. said.

“It’s more than competition… it’s connection, culture, and pure excitement.”

Lillyfest will run from 1 to 9 p.m. on August 30 and will be free to attend.
