Evacuation alerts rescinded at Three Valley Lake, K3 Cat Ski Lodge

The Columbia Shuswap Regional District, through the Shuswap Emergency Program, has rescinded the Evacuation Alert for properties near Three Valley Lake and near the K3 Cat Ski Lodge.

As of 4 p.m. Wednesday, the areas near Revelstoke are considered all clear.

This means properties located at 8271, 8234 and 8240 Trans-Canada Highway, Three Valley, are no longer under any alert, nor are the Three Valley Lake Chateau and Ghost Town, North of the Trans-Canada Highway or Three Valley Lake.

The one kilometre perimeter around K3 Cat Ski Lodge is also out of the Evacuation Alert.

Though the alerts have been rescinded, the fires burning in the surrounding areas are not fully extinguished, and residents are advised to regularly monitor the CSRD’s website in case conditions worsen at either the Three Valley or the Bews Creek fires.
