Flynn returned as CSRD leader

Kevin Flynn will spend a second year as chairperson of the Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD) Board after his nomination was acclaimed at the November 19 regular board meeting.

Flynn, a City of Salmon Arm councillor, is a long-serving member of the CSRD board and has expressed his passion for conducting the regional work of the CSRD, in addition to his role as a municipal councillor. He was selected for his first-term as board chair in November 2019.

“I’m very glad to have another chance to continue as chair, and I appreciate the nomination and support of the board. I look forward to what will certainly be another interesting and challenging year ahead,” said Flynn.

Electoral Area E (Rural Sicamous and Malakwa) Director Rhona Martin agreed to continue in her role of vice-chair and was declared elected by acclamation.
