8 Medals Including 5 Gold for Okanagan Spirits

Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery in Vernon cleaned up at the World Spirit Awards in Germany yesterday.

For the second straight year they won gold for their Laird of Fintry Single Malt whiskey.

The also won gold for Taboo Absinthe, Aquavit, Blackcurrant Liqueur and Haskap Liqueur.

Their Rhubarb Liqueur took a silver and they earned bronze for both their Family Reserve vodka and gin de Monocle.

In total 8 medals for 100% BC produced spirits.
