Unusual Theft

Police are seeking tips on the theft of a large red Canada Post mailbox in Coldstream.

It was stolen from the corner of Kickwillie Loop and Westkal Road sometime between Sunday and Monday morning.

Mounties are hoping someone saw or heard suspicious activity in that area which is where people park to access the Okanagan Rail Trail.

“The mailbox is a “street letter box” where you deposit mail for pickup,” says RCMP Cst. Jocelyn Noseworthy.
